Dental Cleanings & Exams
The most important cleaning tip for your oral health is making sure you are keeping up with your dental cleanings. For most kids, this is twice a year. If you missed your last cleaning, or it has been some time – don’t fret, be sure to schedule right away. Our team is here to make all patients feel welcome in our care.
What You Can Expect During Your Cleaning
As we plan for your future smile, you are an integral part of planning your care alongside us. When you visit our dental office, we’ll make sure you feel welcome by providing:
- Convenient pediatric and orthodontic dentistry under one roof
- Friendly, caring support staff
- Gentle dental care
- Uncluttered, calm, and stress-free atmosphere
Our services are guided by advanced dental technology such as digital x-rays and intraoral cameras. To help you and your family maintain healthy teeth, we offer professional cleanings and regular dental exams with our dentist.
Additional Spring Cleaning Tips
Outside of keeping up with professional cleanings, here is a quick list to run through:
Clean your retainers and clear aligners – these get grimy quick. We recommend keeping them clean, but do so now if you haven’t cleaned them up in a while. Soak the retainers AND soak the cases. The cases can harbor bacteria, and a good soak is needed every so often.
Ditch your old toothbrush – 3 months, and it’s time to pitch our toothbrush. If you received a new toothbrush at Christmas, now is the time for a replacement.
Whiten your teeth – winter is filled with dark drinks like hot cocoa, lattes and coffee. All of these can stain our teeth. Additionally, if you had your braces or Invisalign removed recently, you may have noticed some discoloration. Do a bit of whitening maintenance by calling our office and scheduling a professional teeth whitening treatment. You can ask about in-office and take-home options.
Accepting New Patients
We invite you to call us to book your first dental cleaning and exam with us, regardless of whether it is your child’s first time visiting the dentist or you’re new to the area.
