Dr. Chan, a native Texan, demonstrates an impressive academic record, graduating summa cum laude from Rice University and achieving alpha omega alpha status at Baylor College of Medicine. She pursued her medical journey in Boston, completing her residency and two fellowships at Harvard-affiliated hospitals. Dr. Chan holds board certifications in anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology.

With a global perspective, Dr. Chan has practiced pediatric anesthesia in esteemed institutions nationwide, including Brown University, Johns Hopkins All Children‘s Hospital, and Stanford University. She extended her expertise to the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Kigali, as part of Rwanda’s Ministry of Health-sponsored program.

Dr. Chan’s dedication shines through her extensive volunteer work with organizations like Operation Smile. Currently residing in Chicago, IL, with her husband and two sons, she blends her roles as a physician and mother to provide compassionate care to every child she meets.
